Meet other local people interested in Agile methods of software development. We'll start by using the Open Space concept - Whoever comes are the right people, whatever happens is the only thing that could have.
There are no upcoming Meetups.
We believe that lots of developers would contribute to open source software if it was easy and there was an obvious place to start. OpenHatch X is an event organized to make it easy and fun to contribute to open source projects. Come to OpenHatch X prepared to get neck deep in code and maybe even learn how to be a great developer!
At OpenHatch we have a friendly space policy

Classically, these are full-day events including 6 programming sessions, a long lunch, and beer …

… The actual build portion of this is flexible, agile, and will change from meeting to meeting. The principle here is to create a development team that can help each other out. At the end of the meeting, the goal is to have either a fully formed solution, or a good chunk of it built so that you can go back to your organization and finish it up. Some assumptions about these meetings: 1. No Powerpoint allowed (or Keynote or any other presentation software) 2. No sales pitches by anyone …
